\"\"A Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Portuguesa de Sociologia organiza o XIV Congresso Portugu\u00eas de Sociologia<\/strong>, que decorrer\u00e1 entre os dias 22 e 25 de mar\u00e7o de 2027<\/strong>, na Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Algarve<\/strong>, em Faro. O XIV Congresso, d<\/span>edicado ao tema \u201cFuturos em Constru\u00e7\u00e3o: A Sociologia na Esfera P\u00fablica\u201d<\/strong>, pretende constituir um espa\u00e7o de encontro, reflex\u00e3o e debate sobre os desafios sociais contempor\u00e2neos e os contributos da sociologia para a compreens\u00e3o e transforma\u00e7\u00e3o das sociedades atuais.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A Sec\u00e7\u00e3o Tem\u00e1tica de Pobreza, Exclus\u00e3o Social e Pol\u00edticas Sociais<\/strong> convida investigadores\/as, docentes, estudantes e profissionais a submeter propostas para apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o e discuss\u00e3o de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o nas \u00e1reas da pobreza, da exclus\u00e3o social e das pol\u00edticas sociais. As sess\u00f5es presenciais decorrer\u00e3o exclusivamente em formato presencial, enquanto as sess\u00f5es online decorrer\u00e3o exclusivamente em formato virtual.<\/span><\/p>\n

14th Portuguese Sociology Congress<\/span><\/h1>\n

Building Futures: Sociology in the Public Sphere<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

\"\"The Portuguese Sociological Association (APS)<\/strong> is organizing the 14th Portuguese Sociology Congress<\/strong>, which will take place from 22 to 25 March 2027<\/strong> at the School of Economics of the University of Algarve<\/strong>, in Faro, Portugal.<\/span><\/p>\n

Under the theme \u201cBuilding Futures: Sociology in the Public Sphere\u201d<\/strong>, the Congress aims to provide a forum for exchange, reflection and debate on contemporary social challenges and on the contributions of sociology to understanding and transforming today\u2019s societies.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Thematic Section on Poverty, Social Exclusion and Social Policies<\/strong> invites researchers, academics, students and practitioners to submit proposals and contribute to discussions on research related to poverty, social exclusion and social policies. The Call for Papers for the Thematic Section is available<\/span> here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Congress will be held primarily in person<\/strong>, although a number of online sessions<\/strong> are also planned. In-person sessions will take place exclusively on-site, while online sessions will be conducted exclusively in a virtual format.<\/span><\/p>\n
